For all those who love science fiction, you won’t want to miss out on Dark Sublime, offering an alternative play to see in Theatreland. Exploring relationships between men and women, Dark Sublime marks the debut play written by Michael Dennis, who has crafted a sci-fi theatrical adventure ranging from joyful moments to time of heartbreak. So, if you want to see a brand new play brought to life, as well as talking computers and some starspotting, you’ll want to see Dark Sublime.

Marianne, an actor who was once very famous in a science fiction television programme, with her co-star playing Oli, who arrives at her home for an autograph, only for a different kind of bond to develop. As they start to explore each other’s worlds, they begin to discover what every good relationship needs: time and space.

Marianne is going through a time of crisis with friendship and career issues playing on her mind, but the arrival of Oli could provide the relationship she needs. See this relationship develop throughout Dark Sublime, in an innovative, refreshing play which is a love-letter to British sci-fi television of years gone by.
