Featuring the classic music of Bob Dylan, Girl from the North Country is a unique story that takes audiences to the United States in the early decades of the 20th century. After a world premiere at the Old Vic and a later transfer at the Noel Coward Theatre, the musical returns to the West End for a limited engagement at the Gielgud Theatre. Set in the town of Duluth, next to Lake Superior in Minnesota, and it is here that we met a range of characters facing problems at a guest house during the Great Depression in the 1930s. The production is written by esteemed playwright, Conor McPherson. Girl from the North Country is one of McPherson’s most recent hits, including The Weir, Rum and Vodka and the Seafarer.
