King Kong climbs the Empire State Building on the Broadway stage for the first time in the show’s Broadway premiere. With a team of puppets guiding the creature’s every move, this dazzling production features an innovative mix of robotics, puppetry, music and stagecraft. So, if you want to experience Kong up close, you’ll want to see King Kong at the Broadway Theatre.

When a fearless young actress with a will of steel struggles to stay on her feet, she later meets Carl Denham, a budding filmmaker. Throwing caution to the winds, she joins Carl on a voyage to the mysterious Skull Island. There, they encounter a wonder more astonishing than they could have possibly imagined: a 20-foot-tall, 2,000-pound ape known only as Kong. Will she capture Kong with the filmmaker or follow her own dreams?

Plenty of movie-to-stage adaptations are currently running across Broadway, including the 1990 film Pretty Woman at the Nederlander Theatre and Tootsie at the Marquis Theatre. But, if you want to see epic puppetry and stunning visuals on stage, you’ll want to book your tickets to see King Kong now.
