Show & Venue Information

Returning to the Eventim Apollo for a third Christmas season, Nativity the Musical is the feel-good show to get any audience member excited for what the Yuletide may bring! A stage adaptation of the 2009 Christmas film that got everybody talking, the smash-hit film was adapted for the stage by Debbie Isitt, who created the much loved films. Featuring the original songs from the movies and a sparkle of Christmas magic, make sure you’ve got your end of year celebrations sorted with a trip to the Nativity. So, if you enjoyed the film and want to see it on stage in a marvellous celebration, you’ll want to see Nativity the Musical.

In the show, you’ll see the kids of St Bernadette’s School putting on their annual school Nativity. As the school attempts to put on a musical Nativity to beat all the other schools, Mr Maddens promises the children that a top Hollywood producer will be in the audience to turn their Nativity vision into the next big blockbuster! With a host of hilarious children, unpredictable animals and crazy teaching assistant Mr Poppy, the reality of making everyone’s Christmas wish come true turns into an uphill struggle. Will everyone’s Christmas wish come true? Will the Hollywood producer make everybody a star performer? The only way you’ll find out is booking your tickets to the most extravagant nativity that London theatre has to offer.

Nativity the Musical was first performed in 2017 at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre, before a small tour that went to theatres around the country. After the great success, the musical then toured in 2018 ending in London and is set to do the same thing in 2019! Don’t miss out on your chance to see the Nativity you wish you could have starred in when you were younger at Nativity the Musical.
