Going to the theatre makes for an awfully big adventure, but flying into the newly-opened Troubadour White City Theatre is Peter Pan. Bringing his unique charm to the off-West End theatre, enjoy a production that tears up J.M. Barrie’s original and injects a 21st century outlook. So, if you want to see a classic fairytale reinvented, you’ll want to see Peter Pan.

When leader of the Lost Boys, Peter Pan, flies to the Darling household in order to retrieve his shadow, he’s quickly met by Wendy. Assisting him and re-attaching his shadow, Wendy and the rest of the Darling children then fly to Neverland, where they’re met by Tinkerbell, Tiger Lily and the Lost Boys. While there, they come into a spot of bother with Captain Hook. Can the Darling children return to safety?

The tales of Peter Pan and the Lost Boys, as well as flying will be told at numerous theatres in London this year. Over the Christmas period, visit Alexandra Palace to see Peter Pan Goes Wrong, or head to Wicked at the Apollo Victoria Theatre where Elphaba defies gravity. But, if you’re looking to see a traditional children’s tale told on stage, you’ll want to book tickets for Peter Pan.
